I. General Information1. TripRewards is offered by Travel Rewards, Inc., a subsidiary of Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC, and by Travel Rewards Inc.’s successors and assigns (“Sponsor”). These Terms and Conditions are subject to interpretation by Sponsor in its sole discretion and are governed by New Jersey law.
2. Sponsor may modify, alter, delete or add new terms and conditions, procedures, point values, redemption levels, conversion ratios, conditions for active status, rewards, “Earning Participants” or “Rewards Participants” (as defined below) to the Program at any time without notice. In addition, Sponsor may convert TripRewards and Members’ TripRewards points into a different awards program having different point values at any time without notice. This means that the number of points needed to reach a rewards level may be increased, the time for earning them reduced, or the rewards changed, so you may not be able to obtain, earn or claim certain rewards no matter how long you participate in the Program. 3. Sponsor may terminate the TripRewards Program at any time six months after it announces such termination, without further obligation to the Member. This means that regardless of the amount of time you participate in the Program, your right to accumulate additional TripRewards points or other Program currency and claim rewards under the Program may be terminated and all accrued TripRewards points in your account cancelled six months after termination of the Program is announced.
4. Only individuals that are 18 years of age or older may enroll in the TripRewards Program (“Members”). Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible. Members cannot maintain more than one account or share accounts.
5. Under TripRewards, Members can earn TripRewards points or airline miles, rail points or similar currency in participating airline or frequent rail traveler programs. TripRewards points can be earned through qualified hotel stays (as defined in Section II (B)), car rentals, travel activities, and purchases from participating merchants or service providers as described in greater detail in Section II (collectively referred to as “Earning Participants“). Airline miles can only be earned through qualified stays at Participating Hotels and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties (excluding Wyndham hotels in Panama and Mayan and Corinthia associated hotels). Rail points can only be earned at Participating Hotels and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties in the United States and Canada. Participating Hotels are hotels or other lodging facilities in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, China and Hong Kong operating under a franchise agreement with a participating “Hotel Chain” at the time in question. The participating Hotel Chains are currently AmeriHost Inn®, Baymont Inns & Suites®, Days Inn®, Howard Johnson®, Knights Inn®, Ramada®, Super 8®, Travelodge®, and Wingate ® by Wyndham, but are subject to change at any time without notice. Travelodge® and Thriftlodge® hotels outside of the United States are not participating in the TripRewards Program. Visit the TripRewards website or call TripRewards Member Services for an up to date list. 6. TripRewards points can be redeemed for hotel and vacation resort stays, airline miles and tickets, rail points, car rentals, entertainment and gift certificates, charitable donations and other rewards from participating merchants and service providers as described in greater detail in Section III (collectively referred to as “Rewards Participants”).
7. TripRewards points expire four (4) years after being posted to the Member’s account, unless forfeited or cancelled earlier due to membership inactivity or otherwise in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. All issues regarding the value, redemption and expiration of airline miles and rail points will be governed by the terms and conditions then in effect for the applicable airline or rail rewards programs.
8. TripRewards points in a Member’s account do not constitute property of the Member, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred during or after the Member’s life, by operation of law or otherwise.
9. A Member’s TripRewards account can be terminated and all accrued points cancelled or forfeited if the Member has no account activity for a period of 18 consecutive months. Account activity is defined as the earning or redemption of TripRewards points. In addition, the earning of airline miles or rail points through TripRewards and the redemption of TripRewards points for airlines miles or rail points are included in the definition of activity.
10. Sponsor, at it's option, may also send to Members periodic statements by mail or electronically. Members may access their TripRewards point balance and airline/rail earning history at any time online or by calling TripRewards Member Services. TripRewards Member Services will be closed on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
11. Fraud or abuse of the TripRewards Program by Members is subject to administrative and/or legal action by Sponsor including, but not limited to, termination of the Member’s account, forfeiture of all accrued TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points, and/or cancellation of any previously issued rewards. Sponsor may terminate or suspend a Member’s account and/or cancel points in his/her account, if the Member fails to pay the bill of any hotel, travel supplier or other Earning or Rewards Participant.
12. Sponsor and its affiliates make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding any product or service provided by any Earning or Reward Participant including, but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor and its affiliates will not be responsible for performance or failure to perform of any Earning or Reward Participant, or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of or a defect in any products or services of any Earning or Rewards Participant.
13. TripRewards points, airline miles, rail points, and rewards earned through the Program may be subject to tax, which is the sole responsibility of the Member and will not qualify to earn additional TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points.
14. Participation in the TripRewards Program and/or the awarding and redemption of TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points are void where prohibited by law.
15. Members are responsible for communicating name and address change information to TripRewards. Changes can be made via the TripRewards website or by calling TripRewards Member Services.
16. Use of the TripRewards website is subject to the Terms of Use found on the home page of the TripRewards website. No warranties are made as to the content of the website or that the functions of the website will be uninterrupted or error free. Use of the website is at the Member’s own risk.
17. In the event that any TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points are erroneously posted to a Member’s account, Sponsor may have them removed from the Member’s account.
II. EarningA. Earning Generally 1. Members can earn TripRewards points through qualified stays at Participating Hotels (as defined in Section I above), Outrigger Hotels, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties (excluding Wyndham hotels in Panama or Mayan and Corinthia associated hotels), car rentals, travel activity and purchases through Earning Participants (as defined in Section I above). Members can earn airline miles only through qualified stays at Participating Hotels and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties (excluding Wyndham hotels in Panama or Mayan and Corinthia associated hotels) and only if they are also members of the participating airline program. Members can earn rail points only at Participating Hotels and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in the U.S. and Canada and only if they are also members of the participating rail program. 2. Members must indicate within their TripRewards profile whether they want to earn TripRewards points, airline miles, or rail points for qualified hotel stays. If a Member does not complete a TripRewards profile or he/she does not indicate a preference in his/her profile, he/she will earn TripRewards points. If a Member wishes to change his/her earning option, he/she must do so before the stay in question via the TripRewards website or by calling TripRewards Member Services. Members may not earn a combination of TripRewards points, airline miles, and rail points for the same stay.
3. If a Member wishes to earn airline miles or rail points, the member must provide his/her own travel rewards number when filling out his/her profile. If the travel rewards number provided is not the number of the Member who had the qualified stay, he/she will not earn airline miles, rail points or TripRewards points for the stay.
4. Members must provide their TripRewards membership number when they book a room or purchase goods or services from an Earning Participant in order to assure the accrual of TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points.
5. Once airline miles in a designated airline program have been awarded to a Member, they cannot be exchanged for airline miles in another airline program or converted into TripRewards points or rail points. Once rail points have been awarded to a Member, they cannot be converted into airline miles or TripRewards points.
6. The terms and conditions in effect at the time in question for the applicable airline or rail travel rewards program will govern the redemption and transfer of miles or rail points earned in such programs.
7. TripRewards points will usually be posted to a Member’s account within four to six weeks after the activity through which they were earned. Airline miles or rail points will usually be posted to a Member’s account in the airline or rail travel rewards program within six to eight weeks after the earning activity, but is not under the control of Sponsor and will vary by program.
8. If the proper number of TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points is not posted to a Member's account, the Member must visit the TripRewards website or call TripRewards Member Services within 12 months of the earning activity for proper point crediting. For points earned through a hotel stay, the Member may be required to provide his/her membership number, dates of applicable stay, name and address of the Participating Hotel, and a copy of his/her bill. The exception to contacting TripRewards for point discrepancies is for point earnings through FTD.COM, Outrigger Hotels, SkyMall, Avis®, Sixt Car Rental®, and Budget®. In these cases the Member must contact customer service of such Earning Participants as follows: FTD.COM: (800)-SEND-FTD. In addition, FTD.com members will earn (point ratio) only when the order has been delivered. B. Earning at Participating Hotels and Outrigger Hotels and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts 1. To earn TripRewards points, a Member must be a registered paying guest at a Participating Hotel, an Outrigger Hotel in Hawaii or a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property (excluding Wyndham hotels in Panama or Mayan or Corinthia associated hotels), stay at a qualified rate (see Section 2 below), present his/her TripRewards membership card upon check-in, and meet the other conditions of this Section B. At Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties a TR member may present his/her Wyndham ByRequest card in lieu of his/her TripRewards card. If a hotel ceases to be a Participating Hotel, an Outrigger Hotel, or a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property after a Member books his/her reservation, the stay will not qualify for the accrual of TripRewards points. TripRewards Members who have a qualifying stay at a Participating Hotel or a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property in accordance with the above, may elect to receive airline miles (or rail points if the property is located in the U.S. or Canada) in lieu of TripRewards points. Airline miles or rail points cannot be earned for stays at Outrigger Hotels. 2. Point and mileage accrual is limited to individual travel that is not otherwise restricted. TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points will not be awarded when stays are associated with any of the following non-qualified rates: Employee, Travel Agent, group, wholesale, package Transportation/crew and other special contact rates, or free night stays. Most rates available through tour operators and travel websites (excluding triprewards.com and the Participating Hotel Chain websites) such as Priceline, Hotwire, Travelocity, and Orbitz are wholesale rates and therefore do not qualify to earn TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points. Other specific non-qualifying rates for stays ï€at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties include Wyndham Vacations inventory booked through Expedia (rates opaque to member), domestic wholesale rates, international wholesale rates and family rates. 3. A Member is eligible to earn TripRewards points or airline miles or rail points, as the case may be, for up to two rooms in addition to the Member's personal guest room as long as all charges are posted to the Member's room invoice or folio and paid for by the Member. The hotel should be notified of this request at the time of check-in. If two or more TripRewards Members share a guestroom, only the paying Member will be awarded TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points. 4. TripRewards Members staying at a Participating Hotel are eligible to receive either: (a) TripRewards Points - 10 TripRewards points per U.S. $1.00 spent, or (b) (1) Airline Miles:
(c) Amtrak Guest Rewards® points [U.S. and Canadian hotels only] - 2 Amtrak Guest Rewards points (usually referred to as "rail points" in these Terms and Conditions) per U.S. $1.00 spent. At Participating Hotels, points or mileage will be calculated based on the US dollar amount actually paid for the room rate only. Non-qualified rate plans, taxes, food and beverage, and other incidentals do not qualify. For hotel stays outside of the United States, the amount paid will be converted into U.S. dollars at the exchange rate in effect on the date of checkout from the hotel.
5. TripRewards Members staying at a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property (excluding Wyndham properties in Panama and Mayan and Corinthia associated properties) are eligible to receive either: (a) TripRewards Points - 10 TripRewards points per U.S. $1.00 spent, or (b) 500 miles per qualified stay, regardless of the length of stay, except for Sun Country Airlines where the earning will be two (2) Ufly Points per qualified stay, or (c) Amtrak Guest Rewards® points [U.S. and Canadian hotels only] - 2 Amtrak Guest Rewards points (usually referred to as "rail points" in these Terms and Conditions) per U.S. $1.00 spent. At participating Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties, points will be calculated based on the US dollar amount of the total folio actually paid for, net of taxes and resort fees. 6. TripRewards Members with qualified stays at Outrigger Hotels in Hawaii will only be eligible to earn ten (10) TripRewards points for each US $1 paid for the room rate. At Outrigger Hotels points will be calculated based on the US dollar amount actually paid for the room rate only. Non-qualified rate plans, taxes, food and beverage, and other incidentals do not qualify. For hotel stays outside of the United States, the amount paid will be converted into U.S. dollars at the exchange rate in effect on the date of checkout from the hotel. 7. A new Member can earn TripRewards points on qualified stays occurring within 30 days before enrollment only at Participating Hotels or Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties by visiting the TripRewards website and emailing TripRewards Member Services or calling TripRewards Member Services within 12 months after enrollment. The Member may be asked to provide his/her hotel receipt and TripRewards Member number or Wyndham ByRequest member number for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts stays, dates of applicable stay, and name and address of the Participating Hotel. The stay must have occurred after the launch date of the TripRewards program for the participating Hotel Chain or the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts chain to qualify. Members cannot earn airline miles or rail points for stays before enrollment.
8. A “stay” means one or more consecutive nights that a Member stays at a Participating Hotel,an Outrigger Hotel or a Wyndham Hotels and Resorts property.
9. If the property requires a credit card for a reservation, the Member is a no-show, and the hotel charges his/her credit card for the first night of the no-show stay, the Member will receive points for such night as if he/she had stayed. C. Car Rental Earning TripRewards Members can earn 50 points per rental day on qualifying rentals from Avis® or Budget® at participating airport locations in the TripRewards members can earn 500 TripRewards points per qualifying rentals from Sixt Car Rental at participating locations around the world. TripRewards members can earn up to 5,000 TripRewards points when participating in a Wyndham Vacation Resorts sales presentation lasting approximately 120 minutes. Members will receive 1,000 TripRewards points 45 days after purchasing a qualifying package and an additional 4,000 TripRewards points after attending the sales presentation. Please allow 6 weeks for your points to be awarded. TripRewards points will not be awarded to members who attend a sales presentation with Wyndham Vacation Resorts as part of another Wyndham Vacation Resorts promotional offer. E. TripRewards Vacation Networkm Earning TripRewards Members can earn 1,000 TripRewards points per night, not exceeding 5,000 points for a week's stay if they rent a TripRewards Vacation Network resort vacation property or vacation home. To book a resort vacation, members may visit the TripRewards Vacation Networkm website, www.triprewardsvacationnetwork.com or call a TripRewards Vacation Network vacation guide at 1-866-844-2018. F. Tax Preparation Earning 1. TripRewards Members can earn 500 TripRewards points for each current year individual federal tax return prepared by a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® office. For information on Jackson Hewitt, please visit the Jackson Hewitt website at www.jacksonhewitt.com.
2. No more than 1,500 points can be earned in a calendar year through Jackson Hewitt. G. Vacation Package Earning III. RedeemingA. Redeeming Generally 1. Members can redeem TripRewards points for US & Canada and International Free Night Rewards as described in Subsection B and C below (collectively referred to as “Free Night Rewards”) and for the other rewards listed in the TripRewards rewards schedule found in the Membership Guide or on the TripRewards website, or by calling TripRewards Member Services. TripRewards points are not redeemable for cash.
2. Points will be deducted from the Member’s account at the time the redemption request is made.
3. All redemptions are final and rewards may not be returned for credit except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions.
4. All rewards are subject to availability and certain conditions and limitations established by the applicable Rewards Participant that are in effect at the time of redemption, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. Expiration and blackout dates may apply. Members may not be able to combine rewards with other discounts or special offers of Rewards Participants. Please refer to the Rewards Schedule, the applicable Rewards Participant’s website, or call TripRewards Member Services for further information.
5. Only TripRewards Members can redeem points in their accounts. All rewards will be shipped to the Member’s address on file in the Program except for merchandise rewards, for which Member’s can designate other addresses. Upon the request of a Member, Hotel Rewards, Holiday Networksm vacations and airline tickets can be issued in the name of any person designated by the Member. Gift certificates, theme park and movie theater tickets are not personalized and can be used by any person. Rewards are not otherwise transferable or redeemable for cash.
6. Merchandise rewards can only be shipped within the 48 contiguous

Rewards will not be replaced or reissued, nor points re-credited to a Member’s account if the reward is lost, stolen, or otherwise destroyed, except for merchandise rewards which are damaged or defective at the time of receipt or are mis-shipped. Sponsor and its affiliates, Participants and contractors will not be responsible for rewards or correspondence which are lost or delayed by the U.S. Mail or by another delivery service. Once airline tickets or any other travel documents have been issued, it will be the Member’s responsibility to make arrangements with the carrier and to pay any penalty that might be imposed if he/she wants to change his/her itinerary.
8. If a TripRewards Member does not have a sufficient number of points in his/her account at the time he/she desires to redeem them for a reward, the Member may call TripRewards Member Services and purchase additional points. Members may purchase up to 5,000 points per month, at the rate of $20 per 1,000 points. Points must be purchased in 1,000 increments and charged to either a valid MasterCard or Visa. These rates are subject to change at any time, without notice. Except, as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions, Members cannot supplement points with cash to redeem for rewards.
9. When a Member redeems a reward from a Rewards Participant, which is also an Earning Participant under the Program, the Member will not earn points, airline miles or rail points on such activity.
10. Rewards may change from time to time. For the most up to date list of rewards, see the rewards schedule at the TripRewards website or call TripRewards Member Services. Rewards will be offered at pre-determined point levels. B. Free Night Rewards for Participating Hotels in the United States or Canada 1. Members can redeem points for one or more free night stays at Participating Hotels in the 2. The number of points required for a “US & Canada Free Night Reward” will vary depending on the hotel tier in which the Participating Hotel is categorized. Members may perform a multiple Hotel Chain search for hotel tiers under the redemption section on the TripRewards website or may call TripRewards Member Services for assistance. 3. Reservations for “US & Canada Free Night Rewards“ must be booked at the time of redemption and certain arrival and departure restrictions may apply. Free night stays must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of the desired stay. Rooms are subject to availability and there are no black out dates. Paper certificates will not be issued for US 788& Canada Free Night Rewards. 4. Cancellation policies for US & Canada Free Night Rewards are dictated by individual hotels. Please check with TripRewards Member Services at 1-800-FOR-TRIP (1-800-367-8747) to confirm the Participating Hotel's cancellation policy. If a Member properly cancels his/her reservation through TripRewards Member Services and in accordance with the Participating Hotel's cancellation policy, all points redeemed for the US & Canada Free Night Reward will automatically be returned to his/her account. No points will be re-credited to a Member's account in the event of a “no-show“, a partial use of a US & Canada Free Night Reward, if the Member cancels his/her reservation through a channel other than TripRewards Member Services or if he/she otherwise fails to strictly follow the above cancellation procedures. C. Free Night Rewards for Participating Hotels outside the United States or Canada 1. Members can redeem points for an international Free Night Reward at participating Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada, and Super 8 hotels outside of the 2. International Free Night Reward reservations must be made at least 48 hours before desired stay through the following two-step process: (1) The Member must first book his/her hotel reservation by calling TripRewards Member Services at 1-(800) FOR-TRIP (1-800-367-8747). (2) The Member then must redeem his/her points for a Free Night Reward to cover the reservation by either calling: TripRewards Member Services at 1-(800) FOR-TRIP (1-800-367-8747) or visiting www.triprewards.com. 3. Rooms are subject to availability and certain arrival and departure restrictions may apply. There may be a limited number of rooms available during peak periods or special events. 4. The number of points needed to redeem for an international Free Night Reward will vary by hotel. 5. Certificates for international Free Night Rewards will be issued in the Member's name or in the name of a person designated by the Member. The Certificate will entitle the individual listed on the front of the Certificate to one (1) free night at the international Participating Hotel listed on the front of the Certificate. The Certificate holder will be responsible for paying for additional nights not covered by the Certificate(s). The certificate will be mailed to the Member’s address on file with TripRewards. 6. An international Free Night Reward is valid only for the room rate for one (1) single or double standard hotel room (up to 2 people allowed), including VAT or local taxes. 7. The Free Night Reward may not be combined with any other coupon, offer or special promotion. 8. A major credit card must be provided at the time of reservation and at check-in. 9. A Free Night Reward Certificate may only be returned for points credited to a Member's account if all of the following steps are adhered to: 1) The Member timely cancels (as determined by the local hotel's cancellation policy) his/her reservation by calling TripRewards Member Services at 1-800 FOR-TRIP (1-800-367-8747), in the US and Canada; or +1-605-22-8835 for calls outside the US and Canada; 2) The Member returns the Free Night Reward Certificate to TripRewards Member Services no later then 30 days after the date of the free night award.
10. In the event a Member fails to timely cancel a reservation in accordance with the local hotel's cancellation policy and/or fails to arrive at the hotel on the reserved arrival date, the Free Night Reward Certificate will be forfeited and will no longer be valid. 11. The Certificate must be presented to the front desk clerk upon check-in or have TripRewards Member Services send a copy of the certificate via facsimile prior to arrival. 12. Members will not accrue TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points for any stays using a Free Night Reward Certificate. 13. If due to loss or theft the Member does not have his/her Certificate at the time of check-in, he/she should call TripRewards Member Services at + 1-605-229-8835 for a duplicate to be faxed to the hotel. The hours of service are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. If the Member is unable to obtain a duplicate Certificate throughout his/her stay, he/she will be charged the local hotel's standard room rate for the particular day. Free Night Rewards for Destination Hotels and Vacation Resorts 1. Members can redeem points for free night stays at participating Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties around the world (except Mayan and Corinthia associated hotels), Outrigger hotels in Hawaii, and at participating Sol Meliá hotels around the world (collectively referred to as "Destination Hotels and Resorts"). Except for all-inclusive Sol Melia and Wyndham properties, a reward for a Destination Hotel and Resort is valid only for the room rate for one (1) single or double standard hotel room for up to two guests, including VAT or local taxes but not including incidental charges. A reward for an all-inclusive Sol Melia or Wyndham property also includes meals and other amenities.
