How soon after I enroll will I get a card?

A:

You should receive your membership kit within 2 - 4 weeks of enrolling. If you have not received your card and will be staying at a participating TripRewards hotel, please provide your membership number in order to receive points for your stay. You can get your membership number from your online account when you login at this site, or you can call 1-800-FOR-TRIP (1-800-367-8747).

How do I know I have received my points?

A:

Present your TripRewards membership card each time you check-in. Then you can check your point status online by visiting My Account. Please allow 4-6 weeks for points to be credited to your account.

What do I do if I have earned points that do not appear on my account after the 4-6 week time period?

A:

What happens if I forget my username or password?

A:

If you forget your password, you can follow the instructions by clicking on the Forgot Password link on the login section of TripRewards or by clicking on Customer Service. Suppose I want to redeem a free hotel stay. Will I need to bring a paper certificate to the hotel?

A:

In the U.S. and Canada no paper certificates will be needed at check-in. Simply log-in and click Hotel Free Night Rewards to redeem your free night.
For International, Wyndham or Hawaiian Free Night Rewards, you will need a paper Certificate. Simply log-in and click International, Wyndham or Hawaiian Free Night Rewards, select your country of choice and follow the instructions to redeem your free night.

What do I earn for my hotels stays?

A:

For every stay at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, you'll receive 10 TripRewards points for every dollar you spend on a qualifying room rate, OR 500 airline miles for each qualifying stay in one of our participating airline travel awards programs OR 2 rail points.  It's your choice. It's your choice.

For every stay at Ramada®, Days Inn®, Super 8®, Wingate® by Wyndham, Baymont Inn & Suites®, HowardJohnson®, Travelodge®, Knights Inn®, and AmeriHost Inn®, you'll receive 10 TripRewards points for every dollar you spent on your qualifying room rate, OR 2 airline miles (the number of miles per dollar earned may vary by airline partner) in one of our participating airline travel awards programs OR 2 rail points. We have developed relationships with leading travel programs— Air Berlin Top Bonus®, Air Canada Aeroplan®, Air China Companion Club®, Continental Airlines OnePass®, Delta SkyMiles®,Midwest Miles®, Northwest Worldperks Miles®, United Mileage Plus®, US Airways Dividend Miles® --as well as Amtrak Guest Rewards®. If you want to earn airline miles or rail points for your hotel stays, you must choose one of these programs on your Member Profile. At the end of your hotel stay, your miles or rails points will be directly credited to the program you choose. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the points to appear in your frequent travel program account.

Can I earn airline miles or rail points through other earning participants outside of hotel partners?

A:

No, you can only earn airline miles or rail points directly through qualifying hotel stays. Earnings through other program participants are valid for TripRewards points only. However, you can redeem your points at a later date for airline miles or rail points.

Q:

What if I decide to change my mind about my earning option?

A:

Simply go back to your Member Profile and revise your earning selection. You will then start earning whatever your new selection is (TripRewards points, airline miles or rail points), until you revise your Member Profile again. Any points earned prior to the change will remain in that account.

Do I need to make a reservation to earn points on a stay? Or to redeem a free night?

A:

Reservations are always recommended, but you do not need one in order to earn points for a stay. Simply present your TripRewards Card or member number, and your points will be credited to you. You are required, however, to make a reservation when redeeming a free night.
